Custom trips are easy for us to plan and often no more expensive than one of our scheduled trips. It is easier to plan a river or kayaking trip around the specific interests and abilities of you and your children, and you have the privilege of making it your own special trip. We love kids, and have organized many family trips, with kids of all ages. We also do custom trip planning for independent travelers. Exploratory (Special) Expeditions
Each year Equinox Wilderness Expeditions offers exploratory trips. We love to experience new rivers. We call them SPECIAL EXPEDITIONS. These trips are designed for experienced travelers looking for new, challenging adventures in previously unexplored terrain. They are reconnaissance trips, so you need to be prepared for unexpected challenges, adventures, risks and the satisfaction of often being the first to explore a remote area. If you are a return participant or an experienced wilderness traveler looking for the adventure of a lifetime, ask about our special expeditions!
