Join us for a circumnavigation of Isla Espiritu Santo, a desert gem in Baja's Sea of Cortez. From La Paz, we travel by motorized panga with our kayaks on top, then begin our journey through the azure waters that surround Espiritu Santo, Isla Partida, and Los Islotes. Rugged cliffs, cactus-covered hills, white sand beaches and protected coves--Espiritu Santo is a kayaker's paradise, with many opportunities for close-up encounters with birds, and wildlife. Watch pelicans and frigatebirds dive for fish. Manta rays leap from the sea, seemingly for the sheer joy of it.
Our days are spent paddling, basking in the sun, snorkeling and swimming with sea lions, with an occasional paddling challenge with the wind. If you've never sea kayaked, this is a great place for your first time. Our trips are fully catered so you don't have to worry about packing up your gear and the food. We carry all our food and gear in the kayaks and everyone contributes to setting up camp and cooking meals with help from the exceptional local guides. This is a great family vacation, with tandem kayaks available for adults to paddle with children. Younger children are welcome on these trips. There is a 20% discount for children under 14.
Enjoy spectacular sunsets, balmy weather, and walking barefoot in the sand.
